Everybody wants to visit a famous beach, but if you are like us, meaning you like a bit of peace when you are on vacation then lesser-known beaches are the best. They have a lot to offer.
India is known for their beaches and surfing, but India has its share of lesser-known beaches as well.
Here, have a look...
Marari Beach, Kerala
Known by many as Mararikulam, this is one of the beaches you visit if you are looking for some peace and quiet.
Marari Beach in Kerala is a hidden gem with its crystal clear blue water, and coconut trees all around the beach. Also, we reckon you carry your own food if you are planning to go here because there are no stalls around.
Beach No. 7, Andaman and Nicobar Islands
The name might be a little spooky, but Radha Nagar Beach (as called by the locals) likes to keep things on the down low. This spot is also filled with well-known diving schools, and it’s a great place to go snorkelling and scuba diving. Beach No. 7 is the perfect virgin beach for an adrenaline junky!
Bangaram Beach, Lakshadweep Islands
Bangaram Beach is the only beach you can drink out of in Lakshadweep. Further, it’s not as well-known as the other beaches because it’s difficult to get to. But minus that, and you will get to experience nature at its best. There are a verity of birds and the beach also has great views.
Bangaram Beach is filled with blue lagoons, enchanting coral reefs and breath-taking views of nature. No wonder it’s one of the most desired retreats in the Lakshadweep Islands. It is also among the few islands in Lakshadweep that are open to both Indian and also non-Indian tourists.
St. Mary’s Beach, Karnataka
St. Mary’s Beach in Udupi, Karnataka is popular for the St. Mary’s Island. Surrounded by the Arabian Sea, the beach is filled with basalt rocks. This is one of the best lesser-known beaches in India where nature can be appreciated at its fullest.
Yarada Beach, Andhra Pradesh
Yarada Beach is a beach in the lap of nature. Surrounded by picturesque hills and thickets and the Bay of Bengal, this magical beach is untouched by humans.
