Movie posters with cool sunglasses because why not? Sunglasses make anything look cooler, so why wouldn’t movie poster designers add sunglasses to amplify recall. Posters of films like Lolita, The Matrix franchise helped increase sunglasses sales and slowly it becomes a trend.
On that note here are a few popular film posters that have sunglasses in them.
22 Jump Street
The second iteration of the overly popular action franchise, 22 Jump Street follows Schmidt (Jonah Hill) and Jenko (Channing Tatum) where they go undercover as college students to bust a drug raid. We picked 22 Jump Street's poster because Jonah Hill looks funny in this one. Also, 22 Jump Street could definitely work as a look for Halloween.

Ah! Almost Famous and this poster featuring Kate Hudson wearing vintage blue-lensed sunglasses. Almost Famous will help bring back memories for people who grew up in early 2000. This one's a must watch if you haven’t already.
What can be uncool about a film where the protagonist listens to eclectic classic rock, pop, funk and R&B numbers and wears retro square sunglasses while driving a 2006 Subaru Impreza WRX? Baby Driver’s poster sells the sunglasses with the new kinda cool.
The new Baywatch was shaky at the box office, but its movie promotions and posters were bang on! In this one you see Priyanka Chopra wearing a pair of vintage round sunglasses and looking at her co-stars Dwayne Johnson, Zac Efron and Alexandra Daddario.
This Baywatch turns the tables and projects men as eye candies! This poster is a reflection of that.
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
This poster of Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas shows Depp in his Hunter S. Thompson / Raoul Duke avatar. Legend has it that Hunter S. Thompson was quite fond of his yellow lensed pilot sunglasses. That’s one of the accessories you see on the poster.
A superhero who’s fond of sunglasses, (or that’s what the poster and the film suggests) Hancock’s poster shows how sunglasses can help amplify anything.
This one might seem like some sort of imbalance, but we had to add this one given it’s Rajinikanth. Also, sunglasses are synonymous with this megastar! Kaala’s poster shows Rajinikanth wearing round sunglasses with a matching shirt. The sunglasses add a sense of intrigue to the poster.
This one's an iconic poster because Lolita put heart-shaped sunglasses on the map. Heart-shaped sunglasses look good on individuals with a heart-shaped. Go figure.

Matrix Reloaded’s movie poster is iconic because it affected sunglasses sales like nobodies business. Round and rectangular sunglasses ruled the roost when this film came out. In the picture, you can see Agent Smith attacking a rather calm Thomas Anderson. Look through Neo’s sunglasses, and you will see what we see.
Nightcrawler’s poster ties the premise of the film pretty well. An insomniac who is a stringer who films violent crimes in the streets of LA and sells it to news channels. The sunglasses add an eerie sense to it all.

Another iconic movie and iconic retro square sunglasses to go with it. Risky Business’s poster shows Tom Cat in his prime.
Be it human or a cyborg travelling through time, it’s important to look cool (and wear sunglasses) even when you go on a bloody rampage. What makes this poster great? The reflection of the cyborg model number on his rectangular sunglasses. The sunglasses get an upgrade in T2 as well.

A clever poster design, indeed. The Aviator’s poster shows Leonardo DiCaprio as aviation pioneer Howard Hughes wearing a pair of pilot sunglasses looking at the sunny skies.
The Dictator’s poster is a tongue-in-cheek on America. It shows Sacha Baron Cohen wearing a pair of pilot-shape sunglasses with its reflection showing the American flag.
How can we forget this one? We chose this one because the poster is cool and there are more sunglasses in one frame. More is always good, right?
The Bling Ring
The Bling Ring—another film that creatively incorporates a pair of sunglasses into its poster. If you have seen the film (or not) you will gather that every pair is named keeping the characters in mind. And since the characters break into the houses of famous celebrities and steal expensive accessories, a pair of expensive sunglasses is apt.
